This course (62 hours) including 15 hours course about Environmental sciences as introductory to the climate change course, this include the main concepts of Environment and pollution , and integrate these concepts with the climate change concept and this includes workshops and case studies , the climate change course explores the science of climate change. Students will learn hothe climate system works; what factors cause climate to change across different time scales and those factors interact; how climate has changed in the past; how scientists use models, observations and theory to make predictions about future climate; and the possible consequences of climate change for our planet. Notable Community Participation
Participation of the community, and its partnerships with other stakeholders, has become an important component of all environmental programmes and projects, both in terms of subsidiarity of decision-making processes, and of creating an enabling environment for the community to have a say over aspects that affect their lives. This project will target wide range of the local community actors ranging from academia; students and fresh graduates, CSO and local administrations. Youth will play important role in the project through assessment, survey, media coverage in addition to their duties during the project life cycle as mentioned in the project description. Moreover, CSOs and IGOs will contribute to some tasks in evaluation and monitoring specially at the selection of participants and youth initiatives.
