The main objective of the project is ?Enhancing livelihood of community by establishment of community orchard and women kitchen garden?, but there are sub objectives of the project as well such as:
1. Awareness rising of community people on protection of environment.
2. Creating the sense of community work and cooperation among the people of community.
3. Promoting reduction of deforestation by focusing on renewable energy.
However, the underlying objective of the project is climate change mitigation. The project to the most extent achieved the objectives of the agreement. It didn?t only contribute to the climate change mitigation by focusing more on plantation through establishment of community orchard, plant nurseries and kitchen gardens, but it also increase awareness of people regarding to the protection of environment. Moreover, the project also focused on the utilization of renewable energy by providing solar stoves to the community people.
Besides it, the agreement creates livelihood opportunity to the women of the community. Through establishment of plant nurseries and kitchen gardens, they will be able to have an indoor source of income.
