Saving some rare and useful plant species from extinction
This grant is going to collect seeds of several rare and endangered endemic tree plant specias in Mongolia and will raise seedlings to further re-plant in other places and for ornament purposes in urban areas. The foundation for rare plants is an NGO with many plant researchers- members. It has capacity required to conduct this activity, the NSC concluded. The NSC has reduced the suggested budget from about ? 60 mln. to ? 30 mln.
