Solar panels installation and energy efficiency promotion as a method of mitigating global warming
The project involves specific natural conditions of Zhytomyr region, i.e. high solar activity, to implement a demonstration project in Zhytomyr nursing home. About 200 patients from the entire region are treated here. Within the project four JTI modules is installed to generate up to 7890 kWh of energy. This produces up to 150 liters of hot water for the facility per day. The implemented project fosters reduction of electricity bills due to the autonomous hot water supply system operating on solar panels. It demonstrates opportunities for partial supply of electricity in the building and advantages of alternative sources of power.
