It is a real situation that herders and farmers can not produce and reserve milk and some vegetable products over hot summer as they easily go sour and spoiled. Now solar dryers are solution to this. There will be made 12 solar dryers of 6 different types. They will be distributed to 12 communities as first phase for testing till August and then to another 12 communities after August till October as second phase. All testing activities will be recorded carefully by communities involved and products dryed will undergo laboratory tests for chemical and other required analysis. By comparing product qualities, tests and analysis, 6 types of solar dryers will be scored and ranked. Ultimately the best one will also be selected for further use and production by communities themselves.
