The project that aims to contribute to limit land degradation and deforestation through integrated land and water management; agriculture issues will be tackled including provision of safe drinking water with water-wells, diffusion of animal traction for farming, tree nurseries for reforestation and increase of local management committees; the project site is an open savanna with limited livelihood options and is facing increasing demographic pressure.
