Both men and women have similar roles within the community and are equally engaged in the process of construction.

Conducting awareness programs on soil conservation practices for beneficiaries. The beneficiaries will engage in pro-environmental practices that promote soil conservation.

Organizational management, collective action, soil conservation techniques and crop cultivation training.

The beneficiaries mainly engage in crop cultivation such as corn, kurakkan, vegetables, pepper, mango, lime, coconut and also maintain home gardens. As alternate livelihood sources they engage in pottery, 4 small enterprises and maintain a grinding mill.

The project area consists of 65 youth (both male and female) and largely contributes to the construction work of the project.
