The objectives of the agreement have been completed as it has been described in the Project?s proposal and the expected results of the project indicates major achievement beyond the expectation and the knowledge raised among the women and other community people have paid off by preservation of environment and its protection against hazards being posed to medical herbs and odorous plants. On the other hand, it has increased consistent income and livelihood of women in the Kishm District.
? Enhanced capacity of the 12 women beneficiaries on the medical herbs and odorous plants? cultivation, utilization, picking, selling, marketing and benefits through vocational trainings conducted for them in these regards.
? Increased income of Women benefitting from the sale of medical herbs and odorous plants collected by them from mountains.
? Increased awareness among the rural school students about Environmental Protection Campaign and importance of the environment and environmental conservation as they have become environmental activists.
? Increased networking and communication among all the stockholders ? purchasers and vendors of plants
? Increased awareness among the people about the medical herbs and odorous plants through distribution of 500 copies among the people.
? Increased protection of medical herbs and odorous plants by the residents of Keshm District against man-made hazards and prevention of their extermination in the long term.
