- Reduced seepage and evaporation of irrigation water at 40 percent through the establishment of three 5m+2m+12m3 water storage reservoirs at 120 m3 capacity each storage reservoir next to the solar pumps and delivering water from the storage reservoir to the field by plastic 4 inch pipes, replacing the traditional wasteful ditch delivery system.
- 75 House -Holds benefited, 25 Hectares of land under irrigation receive reliable irrigation water plus improved land use and climate improvement benefits.
- The successful implementation of the project served as demonstration and pilot phase to generate demand for the expansion of the project activities to other parts of the community

- Savings in the purchase of diesel, diesel pumps, spare parts and periodic repair cost and periodic replacement of water pumps.
- Farmers used new technologies system of Solar Water pump and replacing the traditional wasteful ditch delivery system.
