The grantee was awarded to conduct a comprehensive participatory study that will help SGP team to undertake a preparatory process to develop its strategy for OP6. This study has involved multi-stakeholder consultations, development of baseline assessment(s) of priority identified landscape(s)/seascape(s), and elaboration of the Country Program Strategy (CPS) for Operational Phase OP6 in close coordination with the Small Grant Program (SGP) National Coordinator (NC) and National Steering Committee (NSC) in Jordan.

Specific objectives of the project was to assess the Country Program Strategy (CPS) of Small Grant Program (SGP) in order to identify niches of SGP for programming in OP6, thus focusing the program to deliver the strategic impact expected, select of the landscape/seascape area of focus in line with the assessment of SGP country program strategy niches, opportunities, challenges and potentials for synergies, analyse the current situation of the selected landscape/seascape so as to provide information about the key challenges, opportunities for community, CBOs and relevant stakeholders within and outside of the landscape who need to play a role and to come up with final and fully elaborated Small Grant Program OP6 Country Program Strategy.
