Project goal:
To strenghthen community?s economic activities. Successful self-sustainability will decrease community?s dependency on natural resources available which also endanger the well being of world?s natural heritage (Borobudur temple)
Project objective :
1.To increase community?s awareness on natural conservation efforts
2.To provide options of reliable alternative source of income to community
3.To reduce disturbances by community towards national?s culture heritage (Borobudur temple)
4.To maximize the uses of land available in Majaksingi villages
5.To increase woman?s involvement in developing process
6.To increase community participation on natural conservation effort by providing
technical assistance
7.To increase community?s income and welfare
8.To stimulate the adoption of ecotourism concept by local community
Activities to be carried out under the project :
1.Preparation
a)Coordination with local government.
b)Coordination with local community (non-formal leader).
c)Setting demoplot
2.Local training and education in the field
a)Environmental conservation : biodiversity, sustainable farming
b)Project development : ecotourism concept
3.Outreach Approach
a)Networking with related government institution
b)Program socialization through meetings
c)Documented success story, to be replicated in broader and other areas
d)Revolving funds, the starting capital will be revolved into broader groups

a)Farming techniques

c)Sustainable economic activities

Anticipated result of project :
1.Natural conservation concept will be understood and implemented by local community
2.Demoplots of integrated farming system to be established : conservation kind of plants, vegetables and fruits (with organic farming system), chicken farming, and fish farming
3.Potential alternative source of income to be implemented with participation of local community
4.Strong working network will be establihed, as a way to adopt expertise from other entities
5.Marketing network to be established, as a way to support sustainability of the project
6.Potential farmer groups will be formed and actively participate in the project
7.Participated community will be armed with necessary tools (knowledge, skills, seeds, capital) to allow them to be self-sustained in accuring better income
8.Increased of welfare of community
9.Decreased in community?s dependency on natural resources available surround the village, hence maintain biodiversity / natural culture heritage (Borobudur Temple) well-being
