Bio-char production by communities
Bio-char production by communities
The project will increase soil productivity by producing eco coal with livestock manure, dung, dried feces and horse manure spread in most areas. The project will organize tabletop and field trainings for around 800 members of over 60 CBOs in 4 regions and distribute stoves for eco soil production and relevant equipment. The NSC members approved the project unanimously considering the project important in slowing down desertification and improving local livelihoods by increasing the productivity of the degraded soil and its yield per hectare.
