Admiralty Island Small Holder Rice Project
The community organisation is based and operating from Lou Island in the BALOPA LLG coordinating over 200 rice farmers located across the province to grow rice using methods that will not require further degradation of lands. This is a community adaptation measure focused on building resilience surrounding threats of food security. SGP will support further training to farmers on improved methods, support creation of Training Manual for distribution and support the organisation to continue to build partnerships for it long term sustainability.
