Eradication of Harmful Chemicals Through Organic Agriculture
The project goal is to enhance the quality of life across communities in Barbados and preserve the environment through the production, promotion and provision of alternative forms of chemical plant maintenance and the resulting organic produce. The objectives are as follows:
1) To produce a minimum of 500 bottles of either one organic pesticide or fungicide product for commercial sale by the end of the project period,
2) To sustainably produce up to 60,000 lbs of affordable, high, quality, organic produce within first ten months of the project and,
3) To create at least three interactive media presentations for dissemination of the effects of chemical use in food production, the value of organic farming practices and the wonder of the natural world from a scientific perspective before the end of the project

Project sustainability
A significant amount of produce were yielded during the project period and this cultivation will continue for sale and continued sustainment of the NGO.
Gender Focus
Both men and women will be equally involved through all stages of the project. The roles of men will focus on construction and installation while women will spearhead the outreach component and engage the community.
Women are expected to benefit from understanding the value of food, savings on food costs and establish stronger bonds between female farmers.
Men are expected to benefit through creating a strengthened comradery and a sense of achievement.
