Introduction of Solar Energy at the LaTante Community Center and Compost Development in the La Tante Community
Project goal: To establish a self ? sustaining and reliable power source for the La Tante Community Center and to contribute to the reduction of soil nutrient loss and soil/land degradation in the La Tante community.
Objectives:
To reduce the consumption of energy generated by none renewable means
To reduce use of chemical fertilizer by starting the production of the organic fertilizers (Compost etc.)
To train and encourage farmers to use organic fertilizer through knowledge exchange sensitization and awareness
To create employment for community residents (women and youth)
To increase the household income of community residents
