Over the years, many of "heirloom" or "antique" apple tree varieties were forgotten or merely passed over as modern apple varieties, more marketable to consumers, replaced them. Unusual varieties known more for their taste than their polished looks, heirloom fruit trees offer a chance to experience classic fruits that are no longer on the market. This project will produce and distribute 500 saplings from 4 historic apple varieties grown in the Borocke village
