Encourage Women to Reduce the Use of Chemicals in Agricultural Production
The agriculturalist at Hadsaifong District, Vientiane Capital, they have the technical skills and actual experience in the agricultural cash crop production, especially for the vegetable production. There are some challenges to threat the environment and the health of consumer that many vegetable plantations are still used chemical fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide in cropping system to increase the productivity, which are causing the long-term impact and serious health problem to women and children that are also harmful to the land condition, animals, river and recipient environment. Most of agriculturalists are women that are more vulnerable to be exploded to the risk as such the raising awareness on how the importance of environment to the household who are doing the agriculture to see the risk of chemical use in agricultural crop production towards to organic agriculture production as the alternative is crucial. Therefore, the project aim is to help the agriculturalist, specifically the women knows how to do the organic agricultural production by using the bio-compost and bio-extract for the production.
