Establishment of an electronic information system on the issues of POPs and chemicals management
Project goal ? Assistance to the Republic of Belarus in fulfilling the commitments made by the country under the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants in terms of raising awareness and educating the public about the problem of POPs.

Project tasks:
1. Development and implementation of an electronic awareness - raising program on the basics of safety in the handling with POPs and other hazardous chemicals in the educational institutions of the south - eastern region of the Mahileu oblast.
2. Informing the public of the project region on the implementation of the provisions of international conventions and initiatives in the sphere of chemical and waste management.
3. Establishment of the sustainable public education mechanism for the handling with POPs and hazardous chemicals in the project region, ensuring the participation of educational institutions, local authorities and self-governments, as well as civil society organizations in this activity.

Expected results:
1. Developed electronic awareness - raising program on the basics of safety in the handling with POPs and other hazardous chemicals;
2. Increased awareness of the public, organizations and authorities on the implementation of the provisions of international conventions and initiatives in the sphere of chemical and waste management;
3. Established the sustainable public education mechanism for the handling with POPs and hazardous chemicals in the project region
