The community radio for development at Nonghad district, established in 2013 as a tool to develop community out of poverty step by step. Many of famers and agriculturalist in Ban Thamxay, Nonghad District, Xiengkhuang Province, used the herbicides and other chemical fertilizer widely in their agriculture activity which is very harmful to their health and environment. Due to the villager is still lacking of knowledge as well as information about the dangerous and side effect of those chemical fertilizers. The project aims to help disseminate through the radio channel, because most of the village can access to Nonghad community radio, so project will advertise the knowledge and information on how to reduce the use of chemical fertilizer in agriculture activity which is very risky to their life and health; restore environment from the result of chemical side effect by set up the rule or regulation to collaborate with local authority and the villagers who are using the chemicals in order to change their habit to use the natural fertilizer, manure and organic fertilizer instead, which are friendly to the environmental recipients.
