Most people at Ban Muangdonmoon, Khop District, Xayabouly Province occupy as an agriculturalist for instance planting and animal husbandry in using a large amount of chemical for agricultural production activities. In year 2016 there is a report from Department of Natural Resources and Environment, villager used the chemical in amount of 2,000 litters and Atrazine in the amount of 21.65 Tons on their agricultural production area of 14,195.81 hectares. The chemical residues have side effect to their health more than 20 villagers got the respiratory disease, hepatitis, pneumonia, inflammatory kidney disease and other diseases caused of herbicide use without protection. The project aims at helping the communities to recognize and understand about the importance of environmental protection and side effect of chemical use to the human health by being a good model for other communities, especially to the youth because it will help raising awareness of them on agriculture production which is safety to the consumers.
