The National Green Knowledge Fair is an efficient mechanism to network and share experiences among the SGP grantees and to also consolidate their capacity influencing the policy development processes through participation to events with key influential individuals or institutions.
This year the fair is titled ?Connecting People Nature: Pathways to the Green Economy? and main goal is to educate and empower the public on the need for participation in the ecosystem management approach an support the green economy sector and to facilitate knowledge sharing of NGOs/CBOs about themselves and to policy makers and build capacity in knowledge management and information sharing.
The main objectives of the UNDP SGP/GEF National Green Knowledge Fair are to sensitize the public about GEF/SGP grantees and the GEF SGP Programme, to address capacity building issues among grantees and other NGOs and to expose the general public to environmental concepts and values.
