Community capacity development for energy efficiency
The project aims at identifying, measuring and evaluating the results and associated benefits from the implementation of the grant projects that ensures community access to the low carbon technologies. The project goal is to build capacity of the civil society organizations, representatives of the local authorities, develop, publish and spread information and educational materials to raise awareness of the international and national energy efficiency initiatives, UNDP/GEF project activities in Ukraine, train on the development of the energy efficient initiatives and activities, conduct monitoring visits to the projects being implemented and support grant projects activities within the framework of the UNDP/GEF project "Removing the Barriers to Support Investment in the Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings in the Small and Medium-Sized Cities of Ukraine" through the Application of the ESCO Mechanism".
