Sustainable development by establishing village milk collection centers and fodder generation and management among forest dependent families
The main aim of the project is to facilitate and support the poor and marginalized farmers to engage in diary development activities as their sustainable livelihoods in 15 villages and habitations of Amarabad Tiger Reserve in Achampet. The project will enhance the coordination and dialogue between key stakeholders to workout suitable mechanism for sustainable use of resources through improved livelihoods of 500 communities to reduce forest dependency and conservation of forests.

Project sustainability
500 members including land owned and landless farmers come up as an active group to take up village dairy and livestock management, fodder development and management activities in project villages. Fodder Management Committees (Multi Stakeholder Groups) act as technical service providers to the primary livestock rearers regarding fodder management.
Also the linkage established with VIJAYA DAIRY, Govt of Telengana is an indicator for sustainability.
