Social inclusion through mixed activities carried out by young people with disabilities from the localities of Calarasi district
The PA ?Dorinta? implements activities that facilitate the employment of young people with disabilities or support young people with disabilities to start up their own business. The founding of one's own business is one of the most viable working directions of PA ?Dorinta? on the territory of Calarasi district and its communities ? a rural area where there are not too many jobs, especially work that can be met by people with disabilities.
Within this project, PA ?Dorinta? aims to support 10 young people with disabilities from Calarasi district and their families to set up and develop 10 peasant farms for poultry and livestock breeding, beekeeping. Also 2 young people (1 girl and 1 boy) will be hired as sellers for the sale of ice cream, fresh juices, in the ?Wishes Trailer?.
The project is focused on the economic and social integration of young people with disabilities from Calarasi district, within the development of mixed activities ? breeding of poultry and animals, beekeeping.
Project?s objectives:
1. Socio-economic inclusion of 12 young people with disabilities from Calarasi district with their economic independence increased;
2. Establishment and development of 10 agricultural peasant farms, through trainings on:
? agricultural activities;
? ice-cream and fresh juices (fruits and vegetables) production.
This project will contribute considerably to the economic and social inclusion of young people with disabilities in Calarasi district and will contribute to the development and multiplication of agricultural activities that contribute to the preservation of our country's biodiversity.
The project will be implemented in the Calarasi district and more specifically in the rural area of the Calarasi district. The beneficiaries of the project will be directly involved in the implementation of the project because they will have the responsibility to identify with which type of farming they want to handle, they will have the responsibility (with the support of the PA ?Dorinta?) to establish a peasant household and to contribute to its development, to obtain the products through work and to sell them with the support of the PA ?Dorin?a?.
At the end of the project, 10 young people with disabilities from Calarasi district will have the knowledge and skills necessary to practice agriculture.

Project Characteristics and Results
Inovative Financial Mechanisms
During the implementation of the project, 10 young people with disabilities and their family members will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to launch and develop a farming farm to earn income from this activity. The accumulated knowledge and abilities will remain with them after the project implementation is completed. They will still be able to apply them in their work. They will also share their knowledge and experience with other young people with disabilities on demand. Also, during the implementation of this project, the PA "Dorinta"'s specialists will improve their knowledge and skills to support young people with disabilities in the initiation and development of agricultural peasant farms and will continue to support young people with disabilities in their efforts to achieve income from agriculture. Also, the specialists of "Dorinta" will share their experience with other interested organizations on request. "Dorinta" Association will strive to bring to the attention of as many people as possible about its experience in this field, its results and success stories. And upon request, will share and export the knowledge and experience gained during the implementation of this project.
Gender Focus
PA "Dorinta" Association wil consider the gender balance in its activities. Beneficiaries of the organization are children and young people with disabilities who live on the territory of Claarasi district regardless of their gender. All children and young people with disabilities who live on the territory of Calarasi district have equal opportunities to participate in the activities of PA "Dorinta" and benefit from the services provided by the Association. Beneficiaries will be selected based on their willingness to practice agriculture as an economic activity, their family's willingness to support in this approach and the presence of resources (land, premises, equipment, etc.) that would increase the chance of successful implementation of the project.
