During the project period were selected 14 beneficiaries with a different type of disability from 8 villages from Calarasi District, each of them started-up a small business within their homes.
For the mentioned group were purchased chickens and food (combined feed) for starting up small businesses at home.
Besides that, were also purchased kitchen appliances such as ovens, ice cream makers and fruit juicers. The participants of the project were instructed at AO Dorinta kitchen how to use this equipment and to gain experience in preparing dishes. in the future we are planning to sell pastry, cakes, ice cream, fresh juice in Dorinta's caravan during the warm weather period.
In present, the project achieved the following results:
- 14 individuals with disabilities and family members were selected and trained in domestic business fields.
- 14 small businesses developed by 14 disabled youth from Calarasi District.
- 14 individuals with disabilities involved social-economically in their communities.
- 2 individuals with disabilities trained and gained experience in sales.
- 14 individuals with disabilities got professional experience and are financially independent.
- 22 individuals' with disabilities life quality raised during the participation at the professional courses (preparing dishes) and their lifestyles changed.

This project was essential and useful for the people mentioned above which come from 8 different villages in Calarasi District. In an environment with lack of opportunities, it was possible for them to get a job in their communities (villages), to use their free time in order to raise their chances of social integration and to obtain an income. The opportunities for starting up the businesses were done for the disabled young people to feel responsibility, involvement, decision making process, business involvement and achievement of the goal, which is the final product being sold.

The idea of having a small business convinced the parents to involve together with their children and create the necessary space for developing and practising at home the business ideas. They obtained supplementary financial resources from selling grown chickens and those sums were for the family personal needs and completion of the family budgets.
They have had alternative food, more eco-friendly, because chickens were grown in an ecological environment.
One lesson from the law-making point we learned is that it was impossible to create peasant households, because of disabled young people law statement for recording peasant households.
Official costs to maintain peasant household and taxes that they would have to pay would overcome matter possibilities.
For future, we would keep informed more from law point perspectives, we will consult specialists in areas of acting for better activities planning and designing and in accordance to law.
This project's priorities were for the disabled young people to aim agricultural activities which would provide an income for them. Our role was to assist in the creation of the businesses in their communities and proposed activities progress.
The families and the participants are proud of the financial results and the independence they have achieved.
We would wish for more active involvement of civil society, community members in the villages where the project was conducted.
From the Association's point of view, it would be necessary more activities of awareness and informing the population, which later would have a social position of thinking and promoting goods grown byy disabled youth.
