Memorandum of Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the ?Agreement?) made between the United Nations Office for Project Services (?UNOPS?) and HAKONO HARARANGA INCORPORATED (the ?Local CBO?) in connection with a project financed by the Global Environment Facility/Small Grants Programme (?GEF/SGP?), implemented by UNDP on behalf of the three GEF Implementing Agencies ? UNDP, UNEP and the World Bank ? and executed by UNOPS.

WHEREAS GEF/SGP has established and provided funding for a project, being CONSERVING BIODIVERSITY OF TONGAREVA through training, revegetation, and waste management.

WHEREAS the National Steering Committee (the ?National Steering Committee?), to which GEF/SGP has delegated the authority to select and approve projects and allocate funding, has, at a meeting held on 10th NOVEMBER 2017 approved the project, details of which are set out at Annex A, and the budget as set out in Annex B, and agreed to the allocation of funds to the LOCAL CBO. All conditions to the allocation of funds to LOCAL CBO, outlined in the minutes of the meeting attached hereto, have been satisfied or will be satisfied during the project implementation in accordance with instructions to be issued by the National Coordinator.
