Chemical and POPs Awareness and Capacity building
The project focused on raising the awareness of local community in Jarash Governorate on the dangers of hazards chemicals, provided fact sheets for locals and established an electronic platform that hosts information and exchange of knowledge on these hazards chemicals. The association also developed a manual based on a local screening of such chemicals used and provided this manual as a guide for phasing out these chemicals and replace them with eco-friendly alternatives.
