- A village nursery of 1.5 hectares was renovated and fenced with wires to propagate seedlings that would be used for restoration planting in the project areas. The nursery was also earmarked for the provision of seedlings for the area in the long term.

- 3 concrete-lined wells were dug in the nursery for the provision of reliable supply of water for raising seedlings on a continuous basis.

- The following seedlings varieties were propagated: Baobab (Adansonia digitata), Eucalyptus, Gmelina, Mahogany, Cashew, mangoes, oranges, lime, Acacia albida, etc. The seedlings will be transported to the participating for planting during the rains.In addition to planting the seedlings on farmlands, they will also be planted in the village woodlots to enrich the tree stands.

- To restore degraded farmlands for the provision of ecosystem functions of farmlands, 50 farmers were selected and they planted 6, 800 cshew seedlings, 200 Gmelina seedlings, 200 Eucalyptus, and 85 lime seedlings on their farms.

- A media sensitization campaign using the services of a media consultant was conducted for the project bneficiary communities to build their capacity of the importance of the project and how thy can sustain the activities for the long term.
