A national level assessment of the impact of laws, policies and institutional frameworks on ICCAs will be conducted to come up with appropriate recommendations and strategies for reforms to improve the recognition and support to ICCAs. The country-level methodology proposed, subject to the guidance provided by Natural Justice and the SGP country team, would be in four stages: a detailed literature and desktop review, consultation and multi-stakeholder meetings, fieldwork, and legal analysis and report drafting.
