They are one of the distinguished nomadic tribes of the world. Perhaps this unique group is the only complete nomadic community in Asia. The Rautes have been able to preserve their nomadic tradition despite vicissitudes.
They represent the early phase of the human and primitive civilization surviving in the 21st century.
