The project is aiming at building capacity of 498 Community Forestry (CF) Committees and CF members on REDD+ concept and natural resources management; increase income of 90 CF members through learning and applying agricultural techniques and saving groups ; build capacity of CF committees of three CF to sustainable manage and use 2,844.45 ha of CF areas by planting small trees in 3 ha degraded areas, strengthening forest patrolling activity and placing 120 cement poles to demarcating the CF areas to stop land encroachment for farming from outsiders. Documentation of lesson learns and good practices also part of this project.
