Project goal: Create a demonstration, consultancy and training platform for awareness raising among all population of the project's region about the climate change challenges by establishing "EcoEnergetika" Center for Energy-Saving and Environmental Education of Youth
Project tasks:
- Set up a permanent exhibition in the Center based on innovative, informational and educational developments and techniques for demonstrating the economic, social and environmental benefits of the adoption of energy saving technologies in peoples' daily lives. - Develop and introduce training programs in the field of energy saving - Develop and adopt interactive techniques of hands-on energy saving training in the Center. - Train local officials, educators from the southeastern and other parts of Mahilio? Region in order to popularize the Center's capacity for public environmental and energy saving education with the view of extending its experience for creation of similar centers in other regions of the Republic of Belarus.
Expected results:
Established "EcoEnergetika" Center for Energy-Saving and Environmental Education of Youth. Permanent exhibition of models of the modern subject environment is organized to demonstrate the economic, social and environmental benefits of introducing energy-saving technologies into the daily life of a person; conditions for promotion of projects-participants of republican youth competitions are created;
20 information materials (brochures, booklets, videos, mobile applications) of an educational nature with an emphasis on the formation of a rational consumer who is aware of the economic, social and environmental benefits of energy-saving products were developed; a website was created and groups were organized in social networks to promote energy-saving technologies in everyday life; the main results of the project are published in print and electronic media; developed 3 training programs and methodologies for the education system, 1 training of teachers-tutors of these programs was conducted;
