Modern alternative energy sources for rural communities in Zaporizhya region
The project is aimed at combating climate change, reducing GHG emissions and demonstrating the benefits of renewable solar energy technologies in street lightening for the rural communities. The project installs autonomous solar street lightening system on several streets of small town in Zaporizhya region in close cooperation with local authorities and community. Moreover, a wide awareness raising campaign is conducted to promote low-carbon technologies and demonstrate low-carbon access co-benefits for communities. The campaign includes public hearings, seminars and round table discussions.

Inovative Financial Mechanisms
An information campaign was conducted to promote energy saving methods and the use of renewable energy sources ? developed and manufactured promotional products with information about the benefits of using alternative energy. In addition, 250 umbrellas with project information were manufactured and distributed.
