The main achievement of the project is the popularization among the residents of Bilovodsk district of Lugansk region of agroecological methods of growing products (winter wheat, spring barley, sunflower, corn and oats), increasing the yield and taste of grown products, as well as restoring fertile soil layers. Project participants (local farmers) who provided their land sites for the implementation of agroecological methods (total area ? 166 hectares) received an increase in yield by 44.5 quintals per hectare. With the help of the acquired knowledge and skills, they continue to increase their yield and at the same time reduce the load on the fertile soil layer. To disseminate information about the project and its results, a number of informational and educational materials were produced and disseminated; practical seminars and a presentation of the project results were held. It is expected that the community that has gained knowledge in this area will continue to disseminate this information. After all, the spread of awareness about the principles of implementation of agroecological methods ultimately results in a reduction of land degradation.
