Project Characteristics and Results
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
A logistic map of charging stations was developed. Installation of equipment for charging stations for charging electric vehicles with alternating current with connectors of European and American types was held. A billing system for the charging network was installed, connected and configured, which provided a constant connection between the network of stations and the server. On April 18, the first charging station for electric cars was opened in Myrne village (Slovyansk region) on the territory of the gas station. It is designed for simultaneous charging of two AC vehicles. The power of the station is adjustable, with a limit of 7 kW and 22 kW. The average refueling time is 2-3 hours.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
An information campaign on the implementation of the project and the benefits of using electric vehicles included: public hearings for 30 participants, The Public Forum "Development of electric transport in the city of Slovyansk: problems, challenges, solutions" for 80 people, two round tables for about 160 people, two lessons for schoolchildren dedicated to the Environment Day, two presentations. An information flyer (3,000 units) and recommendations on the existing credit systems and purchase of electric vehicles (600 units) were also developed, printed and distributed. Project results were widely covered in local media.
