Establishment of a local center of innovative technologies in Nosiri Khusrav and Shaartuz districts of Khatlon region.
The traditional way of existence of the rural population - vegetable growing and fruit growing becomes risky and unprofitable because of the lack of high quality seedlings of vegetables and seeds and seedlings of fruit crops adapted to local conditions and the lack of biological plant protection against pests of agricultural crops. Modern farmers have inadequate skills in agricultural production. And after the reduction of quotas for the production of cotton, the emerging opportunities for growing other crops are not used because of a lack of knowledge of innovative technology, loss of traditions and knowledge in gardening and vegetable growing
One of the ways to reduce risks, adapt the rural population to the changing climate and sustainable development of the rural population can be a change in the management of the water and land resources of the community, with their scarcity and deteriorating quality. The method proposed in the project is the introduction of a number of innovative technologies such as growing seedlings of vegetable and seedlings of fruit crops in special containers. Introductions of advanced technology fog irrigation, phyto-protective mesh for protection from pests and diseases. And also the introduction of watermelon, melon and tomato inoculation will allow increasing crop yields and its disease resistance to pests and allow the preservation of local varieties. The problems facing the introduction of these technologies are the lack of information about these technologies, and the skills to implement this technology, the lack of public confidence in new technologies and the lack of a source from which they could buy these technologies.
Introduction of innovative and sustainable agricultural technologies on food crops production in the villages of Jamoat Navruz and Istiklol of Nosiri Khuraskov and J. Kholmatov of Shaartuz districts, thereby ensuring effective land farming, self-employment and improving food security.
Objectives:
? Demonstrate to local residents that these technologies work, give real results, are easy to operate and do not require any serious additional skills for use;
? Promote the simplest and cheapest innovative technologies that can be used by as many people as possible;
? Organize nurseries and nurseries to grow a quality planting stock in which people can organize their new jobs for women.
