The project was the very first of its kind that provided an engineering sound project for a real building related to the process and technology of rain water collection. The project was conceived as an "open source" project that provided tools for easy replication of the project to in other buildings in the future. In this context, the project was nested in a team of young engineers at one of Tirana universities so that the p\implementation of the project itself involved and exposed a high number of students from architecture and civil engineering. In addition, the project interacted with the municipality of Tirana and provided a compete step by step procedure to the infrastructure design group of the municipality for similar projects.
