It is crucial that the younger generation be included in the conversation of sustainable development, given the urgent need of a global transition to cleaner energy solutions. Exposing students to simple hands on approach sustainable energy engineering concepts can not only increase the number of students that will potentially study engineering to solve global energy issues, but also will spread a social awareness across the students themselves, their families and their communities
This project will be implemented in the middle school students and will consists in a series of theory and practice sessions of building different systems that use solar energy in production of electricity as well as exploitation of thermal energy.
