1) This project is particularly exciting and useful for the community, especially for the pool when it is being revitalized from the effects of the weather and the sea, and the whole community can reuse it for baths and laundry and save money from their water bills.
2) Prior to the project, it was noted that there were only four or so families near the pool, they had been using it for some time, but the entire village had moved back to using the pool when it was improved and safe.

3) Another important factor is the harmony and cohesiveness of the community, as the water is a way of communicating with the neighborhood, as well as revitalizing and re-understanding the crucial role of the Women?s committee.

4) Most sea urchins have been recovered from the previous three months, with some species being scarce. Conservation has become a popular fishing destination for many in the coastal community, and this has helped the village in the daily diet.

5) Some of the women and fishermen began to fish again after the marine reserve area was established. There was a decline in fishing in the coastal areas due to lack of interest from the women to fish in the reef area, and the purchase of fish from nearby villages around Neiafu.
