Promote sustainability by marketing locally-made handicrafts and games (Diginomad) and community conservation
Rapid and increased urbanization in Iran is gradually affecting the cultural and natural heritage of the country especially in rural and tribal communities, therefore the need to preserve indigenous games, toys and handicrafts. One of the main target groups in this project is the tribal communities. One of the main goals of the project is to gather the authentic indigenous motifs, games and handicrafts to create new market opportunities for them in order to help sustain their culture and create additional incomes for them, involving in particular the women and children. This will be conducted through field work as well as promoting a website (www.diginomad.com) which will be accessible nationally and globally.
