Protection of biosiversity of shark fish and ray fish to sustain fisheries through local communities of Hormozgan Province
Conservation of shark fish and ray fish biodiversity for sustainability of local fisheries value chain in Hormozegan Province by recognizing the main threats through participatory action research. Off season fishing and fishing small sizes are part of the threats that will be covered by this project.
The work will concentrate in Suza Village in Qeshm Island and through the network of SGP project in the area the knowledge gained will be shared. As the scientific team will work closely with the local the data banks and the papers will be jointly owned.
