Introducing endangered animal species of Iran by designing and producing toys and handicrafts and training local communities about the habitats
The number of species facing distinction is increasing. Linking livelihoods with awareness raising about the endanger species in their habitat has shown results. This work was originated in SGP projects on a number of species like Asiatic Black Bear, Asiatic Cheetah, Caspian Seal, Newt, Gandoo, Flamingo, White Headed Duck, Dolphin, Star Fish. Through this project this work will be expanded to 8 other species and engaging the local communities in the habitats helping their participatory conservation. The possibility of additional livelihoods is also possible.
