Results:
-Within the framework of the project, a scheme of sustainable livestock grazing on distant pastures was introduced, taking into account the load norms.
- A well was drilled on the distant pasture section and a watering site for animals was organized, an infrastructure for accommodation of herders was arranged: a living trailer with an electric generator were installed, a shed and cattle-pen were built, the trees planted to create recreation areas and so-called "umbrella pastures" in an area of 0.8 hectares.
- Due to the project activities, degradation processes have been reduced in 2,200 hectares of pastures and their sustainable management has been organized.
- Sowing of forage grasses was carried out to increase the forage base. Due to the creation of sown mowed lands on 100 hectares of degraded share plots of irrigated arable land and sowing perennial forage grasses (mixture of sainfoin, medick and wheatgrass), the first year gave the output yield of 68 tons of high-quality hay for winter stall-housing of the livestock.
By the decision of the Council, 2,000 bales of the collected hay were distributed to 48 low-income residents of the village of Maktaly (veterans, pensioners, large families), and 1,000 bales of hay were used to pay for rented equipment, purchase of fuel and lubricants and other household needs.
