Introduction of effective methods of crop rotation on farming fields to reduce land degradation
Kostanay region is an agrarian region and problem of reducing ?dehumification? of arable lands in recent years remains relevant.
The aim of the project is to introduce effective method land degradation reduction by including safflower in crop rotation in Zhitikara district.
Project will launch mechanisms designed to help farmers reduce land degradation, show how important it is to take care not only crops, but also land.
Planned project activities will allow to sow 2400 hectares with safflower. The alternation of sowing crops of safflower and wheat will increase the content of humus by 0.8% and wheat yield up to 12-15 centners per hectare.
