"Youth empowerment and environmental management project for Baobolong Wetland Reserve".
This project seeks to develop the capacity of the youth groups and to empower them with the necessary skills to improve their economic and social status and to enable them undertake environmental restoration activities on the Baobolong Wetland Reserve.
The overall goal of the project is to improve the livelihoods of the communities living around the Baobolong Wetland Reserve by restoring the ecological functions of the ecosystem in terms of providing sustained goods and services to the communities
The project goal will be pursued through 3 specific objectives:
(1). Nursery establishment and training on reaforestation techniques
(2).Capacity building on poultry production, Moringa value additions and other income generation activities,
(3). Agroforestry training and environmental restoration techniques and
(4). Project management.
