Agricultural Development Network by Karen Indigenous Knowledge for Sustainability
? Objectives:
a) Develop leading farmers ability within Galyani Vadhana district in subdistricts of Jaem-luang and Baan Chan for 6 community, 40 people.
b) Develop and alter monoculture into integrated farming that is environmentally friendly and adaptable to forty households of Pga K'nyau tribe lifestyle. It will be focused in 40 land parcels in 250 rai.

? Target area:
Two subdistricts in Galyani Vadhana district which are Jaem-luang and Baan Chan. This district is covered with pine forest and surrounded by hills. It is located in Chiang Mai.
? Proposed activities:
a. Activity to strengthen community?s ability
i. Recruit model farmers and then evaluate the need to improve farmers? ability.
ii. Gather local and traditional knowledge in order to adapt and connect with new technology.
b. Demonstration/Operation
i. Research/Evaluate farmer?s land parcels
ii. Prepare water stream to be ready to develop for plantation
iii. Build a place to demonstrate agriculture and adaptation of Pga K'nyau tribe local wisdom
c. Knowledge management activity (gather information, result, lessons learned, and experiences from the project)
i. Take note and present the result of changes in each farmer
ii. Create media and documents on lesson learned to distribute to the public
d. Participatory evaluation
i. Meeting about procedures from each group of farmers and determine project evaluation criteria before starting the project.
ii. Gather the result of each farmer?s improvements, analyze, conclude, and compare results from before and after the project
