Improvement of the monitoring system on the territories of hunting farms through introduction of integrated training and capacity development approaches? ("Huntsman" professional training program)
This Project is aimed at creating and implementing of rangers training system for twenty-five hunting farms.
Currently, rangers in hunting farms have lack of appropriate qualifications and experience to monitor, in particular, rare species. In such situation, any improvement in the methodology for processing and analyzing estimates of the main demographic parameters of animal populations assigned to hunting objects and to rare and endangered species using the most up-to-date information and telecommunication systems, GIS and Internet technologies will be useless. Besides, there are no secondary specialized educational institutions or advanced training courses for rangers in the country.
The project is aimed at development and implementation of the qualification training system for hunting rangers on protection, reproduction and use of the animal world through
1. Development of the program that includes training modules for full-time and distance learning.
2. Creation of video-films for distance learning of rangers.
3. Training 130 rangers from twenty-five hunting farms.
4. Attestation of rangers and issuance of certificates.
