Community Forestation for Improved Livelihoods in Khak-e-Jabar, Kabul
This project involves plantation of various indigenous species of trees in the targeted landscape in Kabul. With increased greenery, the land degradation would control, and ultimately floods in the area will reduce. This will also help in the protection of the Daurankhail agriculture dam which is being filled with silts by flush floods. The project will also raise awareness on the biodiversity conservation and will help in rehabilitating the habitat of different biodiversity in the area.
