The main activities of the project were focused on the following:
? information work among the population on the need and benefits of using EE technologies and RES in rural areas,
? implementation of technical arrangements under the project
? organizing the work of the Eco-information platform (Eco-information center) to get acquainted with the energy-saving technologies introduced within the framework of the project in the village of Poperechnoye.
Within the scope of the project:
? Energy efficient ovens are installed in 3 guest houses in the villages of Prigorodnoye and Poperechnoye. As a result of replacing conventional ovens with energy efficient ones there is a reduction in consumption of fuel and energy resources - fossil fuels (coal, firewood) by 50%. The premises were provided with a constant comfortable temperature.
? A solar power plant with a characteristic of 12 kW * h / day was installed in the village of Poperechnoy, on the basis of the Eco-Information Center, which made it possible to abandon the consumption of network electricity in the winter period of 2019-2020, as well as in summer of 2020. Estimated reduction in electricity consumption - rejection of grid energy consumption is 4.38 MW * h / year
? Information work was carried out not only in the village, but also in the town of Ridder.
