Development of incubation center and pond fish culture in the Akshatau lakes system as method to contribute to biodiversity conservation
The project envisages the implementation of local initiatives and the implementation of a pilot / demonstration project for the development of an incubation ponds in the Akshatau village and the maintenance of pond fish farming. Local communities in this region will gain the skills to create an incubation shop and to manage pond facilities. This will help increase the sustainability of the use of delta lakes in the Kazaly region, which will generally reduce the burden on biodiversity in the region and, as a result, increase fish stocks in the lakes, which will affect the quality of life of the local population.
The goal of the project is to provide high-quality fish with planting material in the delta lakes of the Kazaly region, reduce the anthropogenic load on the fish resources of natural reservoirs and improve the condition of the ecosystems of the delta lakes.
