?Solar Energy for Heating to Conserve Band-e-Amir National Park (BANP), Abqul Village, Yakawlang, Bamyan?. The project focuses on the protecting Band-e-Amire National Park by supporting the communities to install passive solar houses in verandas of their homes. This reduces pressure on the natural brushwood used for heating. The project not only prevent land degradation in BANP, but also reduce the emission of green house gases to the air.
